Dr. Phuong Le Callaway, (Ph.D) had a full-time job as a government employee, had a passion for essential oils, and wanted to have the opportunity to help her family and friends as well as herself in promoting total health and well-being by using Aromatherapy.
She graduated from Aromahead’s Aromatherapy Certification Program in 2016, and her knowledge of essential oil properties, chemical components, and therapeutic applications became the foundation of her efforts to help others. She went a step further by launching her onsite Aromatherapy store, AmazingSkinCreations with Etsy, to introduce her homemade Aromatherapy products and hoped to spread to those outside her family and friend circles what essential oils can do to help those who look for an alternative therapy.
Sometimes, our families and friends may have a little doubt when it comes to how effective essential oils can be. It’s understandable! While Aromatherapy is becoming more popular in the mainstream, there is still a big gap in the general public’s knowledge about how essential oils work.
This is one reason Phuong’s knowledge of the science behind essential oils was indispensable. It helped her build the trust and confidence of her family and friends as she first started making blends to help them.
Once they experienced how effective Phuong’s products were, the results stood as proof in and of themselves! And the gratitude and compliments began pouring in.
Phuong made blends for everything from pain, to respiratory congestion, to anxiety and depression, and even natural cleaning products, personal and skin care.
Phuong shared a particularly moving story with us about when she made a blend for anxiety and depression for one of her friends. Her friend was so supported by the inhaler, that she stopped using other medicines.
She said to Phuong, “You have saved my life. I am now happier and able to do all the things that I used to do.” Recently, this friend purchased the anxiety and depression inhaler product and left a positive comment.
Wow . . . feedback like that touches my heart! I feel so happy for Phuong, and so honored that her Aromatherapy Certification has enabled her to help people to such an extent—even with a full-time job.
After she became a Certified Aromatherapist, Phuong continued her Aromatherapy education at Aromahead, enrolling in the Scholar’s Program (for a full 400 hours of education!)
She said, “Once I have graduated this advanced program, I will have more time to promote the art of Aromatherapy as an alternative therapy by itself, or in conjunction with traditional medicines for all kinds of ailments.”
