Opening a bottle of Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) essential oil never fails to bring a smile to my face!
If you’ve ever walked into a room where someone’s recently peeled an orange, you know how instantly uplifting the aroma is! (“Mmm, who’s eating an orange?!”)Sweet Orange essential oil’s scent is just like the freshly peeled fruit. It’s warm, familiar, and comforting. It’s bright and optimistic. And it’s relaxing enough to diffuse as you’re falling asleep.
A great way to get to know Sweet Orange essential oil is by adding 10–12 drops to a 1 oz (30 ml) bottle of jojoba. Keep it with you to use throughout the day—as a pain relief blend (great for stiff necks!), to protect your immunity if others around you are sick, or just if you want to take a few moments to feel calm, uplifted, and reassured.
This simple blend with only two ingredients—jojoba and Orange essential oil—can help you experience the oil’s personality in a profound way. (I bet you’ll get more ideas for how you’d like to blend with it, too!)
If you love Sweet Orange essential oil as much as I do, or if you just want to learn more about it, then I have some news for you . . .
I’ve created an Aromahead webinar class dedicated to Sweet Orange essential oil!
Yup—the class is all about blending with Orange! It’s called the Orange Spotlight Webinar, and it was inspired by Sweet Orange’s Spotlight on The Aromahead Blog. (People sent me such “sweet” messages about the Sweet Orange Spotlight that I got excited to make this class!)
The Orange Spotlight Webinar is a live webinar class that I’ll teach on Thursday, December 7th at 1 PM Eastern USA. The class will last two hours and costs just $35. (I wanted to make the class affordable for everyone.)
But if you can’t make it to the live class at that time, still feel free to sign up—I’m going to record the class for you, and it will live in your Aromahead account, where you’ll have lifetime access to it.
The class features the five recipes from Sweet Orange’s Essential Oil Spotlight on The Aromahead Blog:
- Bye-Bye Stress Inhaler
- Vanilla & Orange Massage Oil
- Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaner
- Sweet Orange Winter Moisturizer
- Sweet Orange Essential Room & Linen Spray
We’ll “meet” Sweet Orange essential oil and learn about the role it plays in each recipe, and why the other oils in the blends are included.
The other oils we’ll “meet” on the webinar are Frankincense, Cedarwood, Lemon, Grapefruit, Cardamom, and Neroli. Each of these oils supports Sweet Orange’s work in some way, and after the webinar you’ll understand how to blend with each of them more thoroughly.
But wait, there’s more! (Haha!) After the webinar I’m holding a live one-hour Q&A session.
Bring all your questions about Orange essential oil and I’ll be sure to answer every one of them. I’m going to record the Q&A session for you as well as the class. They’ll be in two separate recordings, so you can take the class or listen to the Q&A at separate times.
I’ll also timestamp the recordings for you, which is especially helpful for the Q&A—you can jump to any question you like, or listen to the whole thing to get answers to questions you didn’t know you had!
Sweet Orange likes to focus on the sweet things in life, so I’ve made sure to fill this webinar class with goodness and value for you:
- The two-hour webinar class, which I’ll teach live
- The one-hour Q&A session (also live)
- A class worksheet for you to take notes on
- A beautiful PDF of the recipes
- A PDF of all the webinar slides (you can download and print the worksheet and both of the PDFs)
- And three extra educational topics! I’ll give a chemistry lesson on citrus essential oils, teach you to make your own vanilla-infused jojoba, and tell you exactly how to safely blend with phototoxic citrus oils.
Orange is multi-talented. In class you’ll learn the main reason why it’s so good at everything it does—from supporting immunity, to easing stress, to cleaning the kitchen (the same reason makes it good at all three!). This will be a “sweet” way to spend a few hours of your time, and you’ll come away with practical knowledge you can use in your blends right away.
Sweet Orange hopes to see your name on its class registration list! (And so do I!)
