I have been in communication with NAHA recently, and wanted to share something with you!
NAHA is the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. They’re one of the most well-regarded Aromatherapy organizations in the world.
They have very high standards for essential oil education.
If an Aromatherapy school wants to offer an Aromatherapy Certification Program, getting their program approved by NAHA is a BIG step—and a big sign that the school provides in-depth education based in science and research.
Way back when I started Aromahead Institute in 1998, I knew that I wanted to earn NAHA approval.
I wanted to offer my students that level of education.
And I was THRILLED when we succeeded! The day we earned NAHA approval, all those years ago, was definitely a celebration day at Aromahead!
Well, guess what? It’s time for more celebration!
Because NAHA now has a 3rd level of approval within their ranking system.
And Aromahead Institute is now an approved NAHA LEVEL 3 SCHOOL!
I am so excited for all of our students . . .
Especially those who want to become Clinical Aromatherapists.
Because being a Level 3 School means that Aromahead Institute’s Aromatherapy Certification Program (ACP) + Advanced Graduate Progam (together) offer 300+ hours of education that NAHA requires if you’re going to apply to become a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist.
It has been such a great road since Aromahead’s founding in 1998!
We have met and surpassed so many goals—including being a NAHA Level 3 School!
I feel so proud, humbled, and grateful to be on this journey with all of you.
Aromahead has always valued a very high standard of essential oil education. We also love to create community and our students and graduates become part of this nourishing, dynamic and fun community.
All of our classes are based in science, research and experience, so students thoroughly understand therapeutic properties, safety issues, and even chemistry. Aromahead students also receive in-depth personal guidance on blending and using essential oils every day—the practical processes of making blends for yourself and others, what drop counts are safe, using oils for kids, how to price your blends for retail sales, and so much more.
And because more research on essential oils is always being done, we keep our classes up to date with new information.
I am so proud of the way that Aromahead sets our students up for success—whatever “success” means for them.
Maybe success means starting a business in Aromatherapy, working as a consultant, writing a blog, or using essential oils for your family and friends.
Maybe you want to become a fully Certified Aromatherapist or Certified Clinical Aromatherapist.
We give all of our students a solid foundation, so they can build on that to create whatever version of success they dream of.
If your dream is to be a Clinical Aromatherapist, you can start right here with Aromahead!
We will support you every step of the way!
“With the education and knowledge that I have received through the Aromatherapy Certification Program, I have been able to open my own online apothecary business – and although it's just starting out, it's already doing very, very well! It enables me to stay at home to be able to take care of my parents, and not have to go out and work a 9 to 5 day job. This is truly been a huge blessing in my life.”
“I loved the entire Aromatherapy Certification Program, and learned so much. It has helped me with product development, and knowing that what I am creating is at a safe dilution (and not phototoxic, for example). The chemistry and science that we learned in the course has given me so much more diversity in 'reading' an essential oil, and now I’m much more clued up on how to work out substitutes, what components are helpful for what ailments, and which oils are the best for skincare in general.”
“Having taught in universities and studied various healing arts modalities for over a decade, I unhesitatingly recommend Aromahead’s Aromatherapy Certification Program to everyone – from beginner to daily user. The format is super user-friendly and content is beyond rich. The extensive case studies and amazing feedback set me on a great path of understanding how oils could be used to move the body into a deeper healing state. I now feel confident I’m moving into my aromatherapy practice in a mindful, safe, and ethical way.”
