Can you believe we’ve already reached the end of 2018? Wow! Time flies when you’re having fun (and using essential oils, haha!)

Do you have big wishes for the New Year? I always feel that the New Year is a beautiful time to connect with your heart and feel into what’s true for you. It’s a sweet time to feel gratitude for what’s in your life, and make plans for changes you’d like to make or adventures you’d like to experience.

Using essential oils for the New Year can help you do that!

Scent has a unique ability to touch our emotions. We can tap into this with essential oils, creating an atmosphere that supports feeling centered, focused, and clear-minded.

I recently shared an incense recipe in my email series, Aromahead Weekly, that helps you create an atmosphere like this. I called it “Myrrh Magic Holiday Incense.” That recipe was for making incense sticks, which can take a few days to dry before they’re ready to burn.

I want you to be able to experience the blend in time for the New Year’s celebration! So this is a version made with essential oils that you can use in your diffuser.

Myrrh Magic Holiday Diffuser Blend

  • 4 drops Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha)
  • 1 drop Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum)
  • 2 drops Yuzu (Citrus junos)

Here’s how using these three essential oils for the New Year can help you create a new beginning . . .

Myrrh helps you feel centered and mindful, connected to your heart. Cardamom brings its warm, confident, spicy presence to keep your energy flowing, and Yuzu adds an inspiring hint of fresh, citrusy zest.

I guess I could also have named this blend “Peaceful, Confident, and Inspired!”

Do you receive Aromahead Weekly in your email?
