How do you get your energy going in the morning?

Maybe you are one of those people who wakes up and feels full of zest and spark for your day, even before you get out of bed. But if not, you may want a cup of coffee (or two!)

A few other things that can help you feel energetic and vibrant are doing jumping jacks, taking a warm shower, turning on music, and dancing around your house . . . and essential oils!

Here is a bright, refreshing diffuser blend with citrus essential oils and a hint of Lavender.

Soft Citrus Diffuser Blend

  • 2 drops Grapefruit essential oil (Citrus paradisi)

  • 1 drop Lemon essential oil (Citrus limon)

  • 1 drop Sweet Orange essential oil (Citrus sinensis)

  • 2 drops Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia)

Drop the essential oils right into your diffuser. (You can still turn on music and dance around the house if you like!)

Essential Oil Diffuser Blend for Energy

This is not only a beautiful diffuser blend to wake up to, but it also supports immunity. Citrus essential oils are excellent when it comes to reducing germs. They work to help you feel good through and through, encouraging your body towards health and inspiring positive, uplifted emotions. Even the aroma of Grapefruit, Lemon, or Sweet Orange can bring a smile to my face!

Citrus essential oils are so effective at chasing away germs, I even love using them in natural cleaning blends. They make wonderful surface cleaners, and they leave the room smelling fresh and bright.

Lavender adds a hint of soft floral aroma to this diffuser blend. You'll see Lavender used in a lot of blends and products meant for relaxation and sleep (as opposed to feeling energized and awake), and that's for good reason—Lavender does have a very calming effect on the nervous system. However, a few drops in this zesty citrus blend won't put you to sleep. Instead, that soothing effect on the nervous system can inspire feelings of being centered and happy . . . a sense that "all is right with the world!"

One thing I like to do when I use diffuser blends is to put the essential oils in my diffuser, then simply allow myself to breathe and experience the aroma for a few moments. It's a lovely practice to take time to enjoy your essential oils before going on to the next task!
