Alright, let's dive into this week's blog post.

But first, just a moment, I need to attend to the feline rulers of my home! Yes, you've guessed it right; it's feeding time for the cats!

Today, I'm pondering on what fresh insights I can provide on the topic of essential oils. Meanwhile, I'm daydreaming about a refreshing and crunchy radish salad for dinner, washed down with a calming cup of mint tea. The thought itself is a symphony for my taste buds.

However, focusing seems like a Herculean task today. Does it ever happen to you? You know what I might need? Some essential oils designed to bolster mental clarity!

I'm sure you had a good laugh there! However, in all seriousness, maintaining focus while trying to be productive can sometimes feel like trying to tame the wind. Often, a wandering mind turns a single task into a never-ending saga. But fret not, my friends! This is where Aromatherapy comes into play.

Today, I want to share with you two aromatic blends that could act as your personal focus-enhancers. Use them individually or pair them up; they are here to work wonders just as you do.

easy attention inhaler

Easy Attention Inhaler

  • 3 drops Rosemary essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis ct. camphor)

  • 3 drops Cardamom essential oil (Elettaria cardamomum)

  • 2 drops Laurel Leaf essential oil (Laurus nobilis)

  • 7 drops Frankincense essential oil (Boswellia carterii)

Aromatherapy inhalers are fun and simple to make! The inhaler is a little plastic tube that looks like a lip balm tube. It has a cotton insert, which holds the essential oils. To make your inhaler, all you have to do is put the cotton insert into the plastic tube, drop the essential oils on the cotton, and snap the bottom in place.

You can watch me make an inhaler in this video. I like to get mine from Aromatics International. (www.aromatics.com)

 Easy Attention Oil

Easy Attention Oil

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis)

  • 3 drops Rosemary essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis ct. camphor)

  • 2 drops Cardamom essential oil (Elettaria cardamomum)

  • 5 drops Frankincense essential oil (Boswellia carterii)

To create this blend, take a 1 oz (30 ml) bottle and combine all the ingredients. Gently shake the mixture and voila - your very own Easy Attention Oil is ready! Apply it to your neck, wrists, or any other area you prefer. I decided to omit Laurel from this blend, allowing the Frankincense and Jojoba oils to work their magic on your skin.

These essential oils in both the Easy Attention Inhaler and Easty Attention Oil act synergistically to support mental focus in diverse ways. Rosemary, Cardamom, and Laurel Leaf in the inhaler enhance focus by stimulating deep breathing and promoting circulation, helping to clear any mental fog. This makes us feel alert and sharp.

Frankincense, with its tranquil and grounding nature, balances the blend. It enables us not only to feel sharp and present but also to relax and delve into our tasks with calmness.

Lastly, here's a golden tip for maintaining mental focus - always try to engage in what you love doing the most! Our minds tend to concentrate effortlessly when we're doing something that brings us joy and happiness. So, indulge in your passions and see the difference it makes in your focus.
