I’ve visited Morocco, where the spice markets are full of baskets overflowing with raw Frankincense resin.
It’s such a gorgeous, exotic sight, and the aroma is unforgettable! It’s no surprise that people have been burning Frankincense resin as incense throughout history. Today, we can also distill the resin to get Frankincense essential oil.
Frankincense essential oil is a favorite for many of us. It has so many beautiful therapeutic uses—it’s a “staple” in my essential oil collection.
One way to get to know Frankincense is to put about 10 drops of the essential oil in a blank Aromatherapy inhaler. That will fit easily in your pocket or a bag, so you can keep it with you throughout the day. Use it regularly to experience how the oil can support you in different situations (such as if you feel nervous meeting someone new, or have a tickle in your throat).
This is a simple yet profound exercise that can deepen your relationship with the oil.
I get so much wonderful feedback and questions about the Frankincense Essential Oil Spotlight (right here on The Aromahead Blog!), that I had a fun idea . . . one that would help you get to know Frankincense and introduce you to seven other oils that complement it in blends.
I created an Aromahead webinar class that’s all about Frankincense essential oil (Boswellia carterii)!
The class is called the Frankincense Spotlight Webinar. It’s a two-hour webinar. The class features the recipes from the Frankincense Essential Oil Spotlight (as well as two very special additional recipes), exploring each one to learn the role that Frankincense plays, and discussing why the other oils in the blends are included.
How do I sign up? Click this link sign up. The class is $35.00
If you love Frankincense and want to learn more about how to use it, this is the webinar for you!
The five recipes we’ll explore are:
- Frankincense Relaxation Diffuser Blend
- Frankincense Massage and Yoga Diffuser Blend
- Frankincense Forest Incense
- Frankincense and Coconut Oil’s Fabulous Deodorant
- Frankincense Head and Neck Relief Oil
Other oils that blend well with Frankincense and that we will study in this webinar are Green Mandarin, Jasmine absolute, Juniper, Elemi, Bergamot, Cypress, and Ylang Ylang. After the webinar, you’ll understand what they have in common with Frankincense, and you’ll feel more confident blending with them.
Frankincense has been well loved throughout many cultures. I made sure to fill this Aromahead class with value for you!
The class itself will last two hours with an additional recorded one-hour Q&A session!
I’ve also created a class worksheet that you can use to take notes, a beautiful PDF of the recipes, and a PDF of all the webinar slides you can download.
There’s also an extra educational topic in this class—seven different ways to use Frankincense hydrosol! Frankincense hydrosol is ideal for things like calming inflammation and supporting skin. We’ll talk about how to use for in your skin care routines, relaxation, and more.
I’m so excited that Aromahead can offer a class all about Frankincense essential oil! This will be a wonderful way to spend a few hours of your time.
I hope you can join me!
