A soap-free face wash recipe to cleanse skin!
I love making soap-free face wash recipes! I have made several . . . and I don’t think I’ll stop anytime soon!
The first time I used a natural, raw oil to cleanse my skin, I was hooked. My face was clean and refreshed, and my skin did not feel stretched or dried out. The natural oils had left it protected and nourished. I didn’t even need to apply moisturizer afterward.
So here is one of my new favorite soap-free face wash recipes!
You’ll need a 2 oz (60 ml) glass bottle. You can blend all these ingredients right in the bottle:
- 1.5 oz (45 ml) avocado oil (Persea gratissima)
- ½ oz (15 ml) argan oil (Argania spinosa)
- 2 drops Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
- 2 drops Rose Otto essential oil (Rosa damacena)
Combine everything in the bottle, close the lid, and shake gently. That’s it!
Just use the soap-free face wash exactly like soap. Get your face damp, then massage some of the face wash into it using a cotton round or wash cloth, then rinse.
Argan oil is a very precious Moroccan oil made by hand.
It takes a lot of ripe nuts to make one liter of argan oil!
I use raw argan oil (as opposed to culinary argan oil).
According to Aromatics International, raw argan oil helps skin retain elasticity, reduces wrinkles, and infuses skin with the vitamins and fatty acids it needs to stay protected and moisturized.
Have you ever used Lavender or Rose essential oil for skin care? If not, here is your chance! These two floral oils have a great reputation for loving skin. They are healing, balancing, and can help cells repair themselves, so your skin stays healthy.
I hope this soap-free face wash recipe makes your face smile!
