Introducing the Geranium Chamomile Spritz—a floral mist that will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized. Imagine spraying this delightful concoction all around you, like walking into a garden of bliss! And the best part? You can take it with you wherever you go. Tuck it into your bag or pocket, and whenever you need a quick pick-me-up—a dose of happiness—it's right there for you. Whether you're waiting in line at the grocery store or enduring a visit to the post office, a quick spritz of this mist will instantly rejuvenate your mind and shift your gears in a more positive direction!

Geranium Chamomile Spritz:

  • Just under 2 fl oz (60 ml) water

  • 5 drops Geranium (Pelargonium roseum x asperum)

  • 6 drops Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile)

  • 1 drop Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)

  • 2 ml Solubol dispersant

Instructions:

  1. Add the water, Solubol, and essential oils to a 2 oz (60 ml) glass spray bottle.

  2. Shake well to combine all the ingredients.

  3. Spray the mist around you whenever you need an uplifting boost.

  4. If desired, you can use Peppermint hydrosol instead of water for a brighter minty aroma.

  5. It's recommended to make a fresh batch of this spritz every few weeks for optimal results. You can use hydrosol instead of water to give this recipe a twist.

A great group of oils to keep your spirits up are the citruses. I wrote an entire blog post about what friends they can be this time of year. Citrus essential oils work well in diffusers. If I really love a diffuser blend, I'll increase my recipe and put the drops in a 5 ml stock bottle. Then all I have to do is reach for the stock bottle, and I can use the same blend multiple times.

Bright Spirits Citrus Blend:

  • 20 drops Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus bergamia)

  • 20 drops distilled Lime (Citrus aurantifolia)

  • 15 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)

Instructions:

  1. Combine the essential oils in a 5 ml stock bottle.

  2. Mix well to ensure they are thoroughly blended.

  3. Use this stock bottle blend in your diffuser for approximately six uses.

  4. Enjoy the uplifting and energizing aroma that fills your space.

Remember to take care of yourself, use aromas that make you feel happy or bring up good memories, and enjoy your blends.
